YOUR INVITATION

  • We recommend arriving around 2:30 p.m. to settle in and find your seat.

  • We don’t want to put pressure on anyone. Wear what makes you feel great. That said, we did rent out a mansion, so let’s make the most of it. Think black-tie meets European garden party: suits, gowns, flowing fabrics, romantic colours, maybe a floral moment. Basically… dress up and don’t worry about being overdressed.   • The day will include a mix of both indoor and outdoor spaces. August in Vancouver usually means warm sunshine, but we all know how unpredictable weather can be. Bring sunglasses if it’s sunny, and maybe a light jacket or sweater in case the evening cools down. There will be a coat room available.

  • We haven’t arranged a hotel block, but click here for some great options nearby.

  • Transportation will not be provided. The venue is a 10-15 minute drive from the downtown core. Vancouver offers traditional taxis (YellowCab, Black Top) plus rideshare apps (Uber, Lyft) for on demand booking. If you’re driving, there is street parking available.

  • We’re keeping the celebration as intimate as possible. Only those listed on your invitation are invited. If your invite includes “and guest,” then yes, your plus-one is welcome.

  • Our celebration will be mostly adults (with a few family kiddos). Consider this a gentle nudge to enjoy a well-deserved night off. Please reach out if this creates any challenges.

  • Definitely! We’ll just be having an unplugged ceremony, meaning we kindly ask that cameras stay tucked away until after the “I do’s.”

  • At 11:00 p.m. sharp, as that’s when we need to clear the venue. Please keep this in mind when arranging your transportation pick up.
